Making a beautiful and meaningful fruit basket for your mother

Materials for preparation:

It depends on the size of fruit baskets you want to do so that you can buy the appropriate amount of fruit. Here you will need:

• 1 big pineapple
• 1 kg of strawberries
• Half a cantaloupe
• 50 purple grapes (1 kg)
• A little parsley

The other materials:

• A mold like a flower is for cutting flowers and fruits (You need to buy a pineapple that is bigger diameter than the diameter of the mold)
• A round scoop
• Knives and scissors
• Sharpened bamboo skewers
• A chopping- board
• A basket (contain a sponge inside)

Process

Step 1:

Use a knife to cut the pineapple horizontally into sections, the thickness is about 1.25 to 1.5 cm.

Step 2:

Use the mold to cut round the pineapple into slices like pineapple flowers that have 6 petals.

Step 3:

Use the spoon to ladle out cantaloupe for the pineapple stigma.

Step 4:

Use the sharpened skewers right through the pineapple flowers about 1, 25 cm, then to push the stigma into the skewer. Don’t penetrate the stigmas too deeply.

Step 5:

Wash strawberries (you can remove or leave the leaves of strawberries). Use skewers through the strawberries in the direction from the stems to the heads of strawberries as in step 4, however, not penetrate the strawberries too deeply.

Step 6:

Skewers penetrate grapes. Each skewer has about 6-7 grapes. You should make it skillfully not to the grapes at the bottom come apart.

Step 7:

Put the sponge in the basket. My advice is to choose closed containers to avoid exposing the skewers.

Step 8:

Arrange your fruit basket for under the rules of ordinary fruit basket. You can adjust properly the height of the fruits and the distributive colors.

Step 9:

Arrange parsley around the fruit basket to cover the skewers and pretend to be leaves.
